☕ Coffee tour adventure

From the farm to your cup

What does it really take to make a great cup of Guatemalan coffee?

Come with us and discover the answer one step, one story and one cup at a time.

This is not just a coffee tasting. It is a chance to walk through a local community, meet a coffee producer, explore the fields and discover the traditional process behind one of Guatemala's most famous products.

And the best part? You'll experience it together with the people who live it every day.

Your coffee adventure begins here

Meet your hosts

We meet at San Pedro Las Huertas Central Park, in front of the Catholic Church.

Your B1 Experience guide and local coffee producer will meet you there and welcome you before beginning the adventure together.

From the very first moment, you'll be learning about the community, its traditions and the people who call it home.

🚶 Walk Into the Coffee Country

Leave the streets behind and walk with us toward the coffee-growing area near the foothills of Volcán de Agua.

The walk is part of the experience.

Along the way, enjoy the landscape, learn about local plants and agriculture, and see a side of Guatemala that many travelers never get to experience.

Take your time.

Ask questions.

Enjoy the views.

This is Guatemala beyond the guidebook.

Learn how coffee is grown, cared for and harvested—and hear firsthand what it means to be a small coffee producer in Guatemala.

You'll discover that behind every cup of coffee there is much more than a bean.

There is land, family, tradition and hard work.

🌿 From seed to cup

Now it's time to get closer to the process.

Depending on the season, discover different stages of coffee production, from harvesting and selecting the beans to drying, roasting and grinding.

And yes...

You'll get to be part of it.

Roll up your sleeves, get involved and discover how the flavors you enjoy in your cup begin with a small coffee plant.

🔥 Roast. Grind. Taste.

One of the most memorable moments of the experience is preparing the coffee yourself.

Learn how coffee is traditionally roasted and ground, then sit down with your hosts and enjoy a freshly prepared cup.

Take a sip.

Look around.

And you'll probably never look at your morning coffee the same way again.

❤️ But this experience is about more than coffee

The coffee is the reason we begin the journey.

The people are what make it memorable.

Take the opportunity to talk with the local producer, ask questions, share stories and learn about everyday life in the community.

At B1 Experience, we believe that the best travel memories are created through genuine human connections.

You don't just visit Guatemala. You experience it with the people who call it home.
